Interim Healthcare is currently recruiting for an LPN with Assisted Living Experience for a 4 week contract in Derby KS. The assignment is part-time, 3 days per week, 8 hour shifts.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in an assisted living facility
• Work with a team of physicians, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
• Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress and report changes
• Carry out physician’s orders, patient care and prescribed treatments
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment

A few must-haves for Licensed Practical Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Kansas
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
